Medical Research South has a renewed focus on our exceptional patients and recently began a substantial investment in its brand and marketing initiatives – to show current and new patients that we care. A goal of adding 1,000 new patients to our database by year-end is already underway.
In conjunction with these efforts, an off-site “Corporate Brand Training Session” was held on Friday, October 5, 2012 at the Courtyard Marriott Charleston Harbor. The session was facilitated by Ms. France Jacot of BrainyFrog Marketing & Consulting, LLC whom Medical Research South has retained to design and implement the Patient Marketing Program and brand overhaul.
You may have already noticed a new blue and green Medical Research South logo. In addition, the new tagline: “Be Exceptional. Advance Medicine.” is also being used to emphasize this renewed focus on our exceptional patients and the level of care we offer. Our website is undergoing a major overhaul (scheduled completion in December), new signage now adorns our front office windows and in-window signage will also be installed to make our offices easier to locate for patients. Based on survey responses from a large sampling of our regular patients, we have begun upgrading our patient reception area by re-painting it, ordering patient-preferred reading materials and setting up a new complimentary Patient refreshment area. As of late August, France Jacot, of BrainyFrog Marketing & Consulting, LLC has been retained to essentially function as Medical Research South’s Chief Marketing Officer. France has over 15 years of senior executive level marketing experience with Fortune 200 companies that are household names such as Kelloggs, Coca-Cola and Capital One. She has worked on nationally recognizable brands such as Special K, Mini-Wheats, Corn Flakes, Muslix, POWERade, Nestea and Advil to name only a few.
